Which employees can choose their own fund?
Under choice of fund laws many employees are now able to choose their own super fund, with the exception of:

Employees covered by a Federal Industrial Agreement, including Australian Workplace Agreements (AWAs) and Collective Agreements;

Employees covered under a State Award or Industrial Agreement;

Some public servants and individuals working for Government agencies; and
-
Employees that are members of certain defined benefit super funds.
