Where Cbus Invests

Cbus invests in a range of different asset types, including Australian and international shares, property, alternative investments, fixed interest and cash. Where possible, Cbus seeks to invest a proportion of its portfolio in the construction and building industries.

Choice of these investments is based on a number of factors. The investment must fit within the Cbus' strategic asset allocation*, it must maintain the balance between investment returns and volatility, and it must offer security that is at least as attractive as other investments.
