Insurance coverage changes
Cbus members can increase their insurance cover at any time, subject to eligibility and approval by the insurer. Your current level of insurance cover will be shown on your Annual Benefit Statement which is sent in September and your Record of Contributions which is sent in March.
To increase your insurance cover, download and complete an ‘Application to Increase Insurance form' from our Tools & Resources and send it back to Cbus. Alternatively, you can call us on 1300 361 784 and we’ll send you a copy.
To decrease your insurance cover simply write to Cbus to confirm the amount of cover you want to have. There are some conditions and limits that apply so you should read the appropriate Insurance Guide before you make a decision.
