Connect (Electech) insurance is an occupation category specifically for members employed within the electrical and communications industries.
Members who qualify for this occupation category insurance scale will have the option (when completing their Membership Application) of replacing their standard Cbus default manual scale cover with cover under the (Connect) Electech Scale.
Default cover
The default level of cover of Electech cover for all new members will be 2 units of Death and TPD cover.
Cost per unit per week
The insurance premium is $1.43 per unit / per week for Death and TPD cover and $0.97 per unit / per week for Death only.
