Mother's Day Classic
Cbus is proud to support the 2010 Mother's Day Classic.
More than 90,000 people are expected to walk or run in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Parramatta, Perth, Sydney and regional locations across Australia. “The Mother’s Day Classic is a unique event that celebrates Mother’s Day and brings the whole community together to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s research programs,” said Louise Davidson, National Chair of the Mother’s Day Classic.
Register now online at www.mothersdayclassic.org and join in Australia’s largest charity event by choosing to walk, run, volunteer or stage a regional event.
The Mother’s Day Classic is organised by Women in Super, a group that provides educational and networking opportunities for women in the superannuation and finance industries. Since the first walk in Melbourne and Sydney in 1998, the event has grown to include ten cities and more than 25 regional locations and has raised $5.7 million for breast cancer research.
Cbus staff members Jan Bray and Louise Davidson chat with Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC at the 2010 Mother's Day Classic launch at Kirribilli House.
