Update Your Details

It is a good idea to keep your personal details up-to-date. This section explains the ways in which you can notify us of a change in your personal details. You should quote your member number on all forms of correspondence. You can also call the Cbus Service Centre on 1300 790 399 to have the relevant form sent to you.

Name or address change

If you have changed your name, please send us a copy of your marriage certificate, or other documentation confirming your change of name, and also an example of your old and new signature.

Forgotten your PIN?

If you have forgotten your PIN contact the Cbus Service Centre on 1300 790 399 Monday to Friday between 8am & 6pm and we will reset it for you.

Nominate a bank account

Download, print, complete and return the Direct Debit request form to us. Alternatively, you can call the Cbus Service Centre on 1300 790 399 to have the relevant form sent to you.

Nominate a tax file number

If you want to notify us of your Tax file Number call us on 1300 790 399, so we can send you the relevant form.

Nominate a beneficiary(ies)

If you die while you are a member of Cbus Self-Select, your dependants can claim a death benefit. Your death benefit is equal to the balance of your account plus any insured death cover.

Generally, a member's death benefit is paid to either the member's dependants or their legal personal representative. You can nominate one or more dependants to receive your benefit in the event of your death. By nominating your dependants, you let the Trustee know to whom you would like your death benefit paid.

The Trustee has the ultimate responsibility of deciding to whom death benefits should be paid. Payments can only be made in accordance with the Trust Deed and the relevant legislation.

Once you have nominated a dependant, it is important that you keep the Fund advised of any change in your circumstances, for example, if you marry.

Details of your nominated dependants will be sent to you twice a year on your annual and mid-year statements.
