Rollovers and Lost Super
Do you have more than one super account?
On average, Australians change jobs every 6 or 7 years. This means that over your working life you could accumulate a number of superannuation accounts. Consolidating into one account can be an easy and cost effective way to look after your super. By doing this you will reduce your paperwork and you may save on fees.
If you want to rollover a superannuation benefit from another fund, simply download, print, complete and send the Rollover Request Form to us. Alternatively, you can call the Cbus Service Centre on 1300 790 399 to have the form sent to you.
Do you have lost super?
If you think that you may have unclaimed superannuation monies, you can make inquiries by calling the Australian Tax Office on 13 10 20 to check whether you are listed on the ‘Lost Members Register.' You can also search for unclaimed superannuation monies by contacting your relevant State or Territory authority.
Contact details are available on the ATO website. You can arrange to transfer any inactive account held for you by another superannuation fund or Eligible Rollover Fund into your Cbus Self-Select account. The application form is available from the Cbus Service Centre or can be downloaded directly from Australia's Unclaimed Super Fund.
