Your Choices

Cbus Member Investment Choice is available to all members of Cbus Self-Employed Super. There are five options to choose from and you can choose a combination of options. Details are set out in the Member Investment Choice booklet and are outlined below. If you do not choose an investment option, your super will remain in the default option, Core Strategy (formerly known as Cbus Super). Approximately 99% of Cbus members are in Core Strategy (the default option).

The five investment choice options are:

High Growth

(formerly Super Plus)

  • Long-term, high growth option (for members wanting to take a long term view of their superannuation savings).

Core Strategy

(formerly Cbus Super)

  • Well diversified option, also the default option (a mix of equities, property, fixed interest and cash).

Moderate Growth

(new option available to members)

  • The Moderate Growth option has a similar, but more conservative investment mix than the Core Strategy option.

Conservative

(formerly Super Stable)

  •  Capital stable option (a high mix of fixed interest and cash with an allocation in equities and property).

Capital Guaranteed

(formerly Super Saver)

  • Capital Guaranteed option for maximum protection but limited growth.
