Changing jobs
If you’re moving into a new job, regardless of what type of work you’ll be doing, you can keep your super with Cbus. Changing jobs is also a good time to make sure your super is on track for a healthy retirement.
Take Cbus with you
If you’re changing jobs it’s worth checking if you can take Cbus with you. Your new employer may even already pay super contributions into Cbus for other employees. If this is the case, all you need to do is give them your Cbus membership number. They’ll take care of the rest.
If your new employer is not already a Cbus employer, you may still be able to stay with Cbus. If this is the case, your employer will provide you with a Standard Choice Form within 28 days of you starting.

I’m my own employer
If you’ve become self-employed, we’ve got your super needs covered. Click here to find out about Super for sole traders. Or you can just continue to make contributions yourself directly into your existing Cbus account.
Thinking of changing funds?
If you’re thinking of moving super funds, before you leave Cbus, think about what you’ll be giving up. Make sure you compare the investment performance, fees and services before you make any decision to leave.
Get your super together
If you’ve had a few jobs, chances are you’ve got super somewhere else. If you have, you’re probably getting hit with multiple sets of fees. Getting all your super accounts together with Cbus means you only get charged one set of fees. Find out how to rollover your other super accounts.
