QuickSuper is implementing multi-factor authentication

As part of the ATO’s upliftment of their Operational Framework QuickSuper, a multi-factor authentication sign-in process for added security is being implemented.

Multi-factor authentication is a security system  that requires two or more pieces of evidence to verify a user's identity for a login or other transaction.

QuickSuper will be rolling out this strategy in two releases – 16 September 2019 and 17 November 2019.

As of 16 September 2019 QuickSuper users will be prompted to login and update their user profile details, including providing a valid mobile number.

Post 17 November 2019, it will become mandatory for users to provide a mobile number in order to continue using QuickSuper.
