Market overview

In September Bonds delivered strong one month returns in Australia, the US and the UK.

Share markets continue to be volatile, which has seen the broader Australian share market deliver a negative return due to lockdown 

implications of COVID19 impacting market activity. As the effects of COVID-19’s second wave ravage international economies forcing 

countries like the UK into striker lock downs, international markets have felt the burn and have generated mostly negative returns for 


The RBA held cash rates at 0.25% in Australia at their September meeting and returns from Cash continue to be historically low.
