How to make a choice
Cbus offers you a range of investment choices so you can target a specific balance between the return you want to achieve and the amount of risk you’re prepared to take – it’s your choice! You may also choose to split your superannuation between various investment options.
However, unless you tell Cbus otherwise your super money will be allocated to our default option Growth (Cbus Choice). Super Income Stream members are required to allocate their funds to an investment option – there is no default in this product.
If at any time you would like to change the investment option you’re in, it’s simple and best of all there is no fee to change.

Switching Investment Options
If you’d like to switch investment options, there are two ways you can make a switch:
- Click here to access the Investment Choice form; or
- Call our Service Centre on 1300 361 784 to have an Investment Choice form mailed to you; or
- Logging into your account on SuperSite. If you don’t already have a PIN follow the secure self-registration steps to have one emailed to you.
Your application to switch your account balance must be received by close of business Tuesday (or midnight Tuesday for online applications) to be implemented on the first business day of the following week. Only one application to change can be made a week.
Switches for future contributions are implemented as soon as they are received, so you can change the option your contributions are paid into at any time.
