Extra layer of security at login

Keeping your super safe

Your super security really matters to us and we're continually strengthening how we protect it. We already ask you to use a one-time passcode for sensitive transactions. Soon, you'll use this extra security step when you log in too.

How does it work?

Your one-time passcode will be sent to you via SMS and it will only stay valid for a short time. Please check your mobile number is up to date. If you need to update it, call us on 1300 361 784.

FAQs

Why are we changing the login process?

Keeping your super safe is more important than ever. We already use a one-time passcode for sensitive transactions, but with scams and cybercrime on the rise, we’re adding this extra step when you log in as well.

This added layer of security makes it much harder for anyone to access your account. It helps protect you from unauthorised access and helps to keep your retirement savings secure.

What is one-time passcode?

A one-time passcode is an extra layer of security used to help protect your account when you log in to the Member Portal. It's part of what's called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), which means you need more than just your password to confirm your identity. This helps ensure only you can access your account.

Will I need a one-time passcode in the mobile app?

We’re introducing the one-time passcode in stages. You’ll notice this extra layer of security on the Member Portal first.

The mobile app will follow soon after. We’ll keep you updated as we roll out these changes, so you’ll always know what to expect.

Session timeouts

If you’re logged into your account and haven’t used it for a few minutes, your session will automatically time out. This helps protect your personal information, especially if you’ve step away from your device. To continue, log in again and pick up where you left off.

Account security

To help keep your account safe, we have measures in place to detect unusual or repeated failed login attempts. If this happens, your account may be temporarily locked as a precaution.

This extra step helps protect your personal information and helps to ensure that only you can access your super. If you ever have trouble logging in, please contact us for assistance.

Access from overseas

For your security, access to your account is restricted in some overseas locations. If you’re in one of these countries, you won’t be able to log in until you return to a permitted location.

These restrictions help protect your account from unauthorised access. If you have any questions or need help while travelling, please contact us for assistance.
