At Cbus Super, we are committed to creating a space where LGBTQ+ employees and members feel valued and supported, no matter who they are. 

As one of the core focus in our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Strategy, prioritising LGBTQ+ inclusion enhances our members and employee experiences. We empower and uplift LGBTQ+ voices and promote equality so that Cbus Super is a space where everyone can thrive, regardless of gender identity or expression.

United Pride

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led initiatives that bring together individuals with shared characteristics, interests, or life experiences.

Comprising of employees from across our business, including those who identify as LGBTQ+ and allies of the LGBTQ+ community, our United Pride ERG strives to amplify LGBTQ+ voices, foster awareness and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, and drive positive change for Cbus Super employees, members, and communities.

Since its launch, United Pride has made an impact in several areas.

Including:

  • Enhancing visibility
  • Celebrating significant days
  • Marched alongside in Pride in Diversity at Midsumma Pride March
  • Raising awareness and advocating for the importance of pronouns
  • Advocating for policy changes that improve the experience of LGBTQ+ employees and members
  • Representing Cbus Super in Super Proud, a Superannuation Fund Intergroup that creates a collaborative network for sharing best practices and resources across superannuation funds

We are proud to be members of Pride in Diversity, Australia’s leading workplace inclusion program for LGBTQ+ employees.

Pride in Diversity is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals by reducing exclusion, invisibility, and discrimination in the workplace. As members, we benefit from their expertise, resources, and support in creating an inclusive environment for all our employees.

Through our membership with Pride in Diversity, we have implemented several initiatives to support our LGBTQ+ community, including:

Advocating for policies that ensure equal opportunities and protections for LGBTQ+ employees.

Community engagement

Actively participating in events such as Midsumma Pride March and campaigns that celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community.
