Cbus Super welcomes industry leader as Chief Information Technology Officer

 

Cbus today announced that Mirella Robinson has been appointed as Cbus’ inaugural Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO).

This appointment is a key strategic move, as the fund continues to maximise strategic insight and capability to ensure that Cbus can deliver a superior experience to our members and employers.

Cbus CEO Justin Arter said the new CITO role will help position the Fund for future success.

“To maintain the high levels of trust that our members have in us, we need to deliver the most relevant information to them in the best timeframe possible, while also developing products and services that will help them to maximise their savings during their working lives.

“We strive to manage the transition to, and during retirement for our members, so they can have the best retirement possible.

”Insight from Mirella will play a vital role in all these key areas and I welcome her to the Executive leadership team of Cbus.”

Mirella brings extensive digital, technology and data experience to the role. As General Manager of Delivery, Data Analytics and Technology at Latitude Financial Services, she led a 120-strong team, and had strategic and operational responsibility for digital customer and product development, and delivery and operations across Australia, NZ and the Asia Pacific. She also led data strategy, culture, architecture, and governance to enable the customer and merchant experience.  

Prior to Latitude, Mirella worked at ANZ in roles including Head of Technology for Australia Consumer Digital, and Tribe Lead - Customer Self Service, CX and Digital. In addition to her technical skills and knowledge, Mirella brings substantial experience in developing high-performing teams, and working with diverse stakeholder groups in complex organisations to deliver great outcomes for customers.

Mirella will join Cbus Super in mid-January 2021.

Mirella Robinson brings extensive digital, technology & data experience in corporate, IT, business and marketing strategy to Cbus. She has delivered operational improvement; hands on digital capability and e-commerce solutions across the finance, telecommunications, media, retail utility, gaming and banking sectors.

Mirella has been acting Chief Data Officer at Latitude Financial Services, and held technology roles at ANZ Bank, Sportsbet, Origin Energy, Sensis and AXA Australia. Mirella’s experience is supported by an MBA from Swinburne University.
