The Recommended rating indicates that Lonsec has strong conviction the product can meet its investment objectives.
Lonsec adopts an investigative research approach, which evaluates a range of criteria including the investment process, people and resources, asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, investor focus and commitment. Lonsec’s experienced analysts spend a substantial amount of time with all stakeholders involved in the management of an investment product.
The six level ratings categorisation has three positive ratings including Highly Recommended, Recommended and Investment Grade. Negative ratings include Fund Watch, Redeem or Screened out.
