CBUS Super today announced the appointment of Joshua Parisotto as its new Chief Member Officer.

Joshua brings more than a decade of experience in superannuation leadership roles, including the past six years in executive roles with fellow industry fund HESTA.

CBUS Chief Executive Officer Kristian Fok said Parisotto’s appointment would strengthen the Fund’s keen focus on supporting its membership across building, construction and the Australian workforce more broadly.

“We are acutely aware of the needs of our members and how they differ from the average Australian super fund member, and we have to be responsive to those needs,” he said.

“Joshua’s experience in member services and his background in financial advice will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen how we support members through every stage of their journey with us.”

As Chief Member Officer, Joshua will lead a business unit responsible for member services, insurance, member performance and complaints.

Joshua has extensive experience in superannuation and has led significant transformations of member advice, growth and service delivery.

Prior to joining CBUS, Joshua was Chief Engagement and Growth Officer at HESTA, as well as Chief Member Engagement Officer and Chief Advice Officer. Previous roles included Executive Manager, Distribution at VicSuper and more than a decade of experience working in financial services in leadership roles with Bendigo and Adelade Bank and IOOF and as a financial planner.

Joshua Parisotto said he was looking forward to joining CBUS as it continues to evolve its advice offering for members.

“CBUS holds a unique position in the superannuation landscape, and I’m really excited to be taking on the immense challenge of responding to our members’ evolving needs,” he said.

“This Fund has an incredible history and a very bright future, which I am delighted to be a part of.”
