Cbus makes it easier for employers to focus on their business

8 June 2018

Cbus Super today announced an innovative new partnership with global cloud accounting software leader Intuit, maker of QuickBooks Online, that can help our 131,000 employers save time, money and assist them to run their business on the go.

In launching the new partnership, Jarrod Coysh, Group Executive Employers, Corporate Development and Strategy said the Fund was always looking for ways to partner with employers to better manage their businesses.

“Cbus is focused on partnering with our 131,000 employers to ensure we keep super simple,” Mr Coysh said.

“We know that in the construction and building industry, employers, particularly small businesses want to spend more time growing their business and less time on administration – this partnership fits that bill.

“The QuickBooks Online partnership means Cbus employers can run their business on the go whether it be invoicing, paying bills or managing cash flow.

“Another advantage is that many Cbus members become Cbus employers and now this service will assist them in making that transition.”

Quickbooks Online can help employers get time back on their side by:

  • Easily converting quotes to invoices
  • Saving time on data entry and bookkeeping
  • Getting paid faster with more payment options
  • Saving time doing payroll (additional terms, conditions, fees may apply)

“Small businesses make up the majority of Cbus’ employers and we are delighted they now have access to a better way to streamline financial management and eliminate inefficiencies via QuickBooks,” said Nicolette Maury, Vice President and Country Manager of Intuit Australia.

“Our goal is to simplify the day-to-day running of small businesses and free up small business owners so they can go back to doing what they do best: work in their business.”
