Who can join?

These programs are open to recent graduates, having completed a degree in 2020 or due to complete a degree in 2021 in Commerce, Finance, Law or another related discipline at an Australian Tertiary Institution.

Post Graduate qualifications would be looked upon favourably, as would enrolment in the CFA Program.

A strong interest in superannuation, investing, the economy and financial market trends is essential, and you will have a willingness to challenge the status quo in a thoughtful and courteous manner.

What will you do?

  • This is a full-time role at Cbus, rotating across 4 departments over a 12 or 24 month period alongside a 12-month partnership with AIST.
  • You will be enrolled in the AIST Supergrads development programme.  This includes 2 residentials (covering superannuation learning, soft skills training and coaching), access to an industry mentor, attendance to CMSF, RG146 training and a 3-day Union placement.
  • You will experience Cbus specific induction and training supported by a Cbus mentor and buddy.
  • You will be challenged and given responsibility from day 1, contributing to Cbus success from the get-go.
  • You can benefit from outstanding flexibility and work-life balance, working from our state-of-the-art premises at Wesley Place, Melbourne or Market Street, Sydney (depending on the Graduate Program applied for).

Where is it located?

  • Our Investments Graduate Program can be located at Wesley Place, Melbourne or Market Street, Sydney.
  • Our Superannuation Graduate Program will be located at Wesley Place, Melbourne.

2022 Graduate opportunities

We’re looking for 2 passionate, original thinkers to join our innovative and inclusive Investments team as a Investments Operations Graduate and Investments Management Graduate:

  • full-time
  • fixed term 24-month contract
  • based in Melbourne or Sydney
  • starting in February 2022 with the potential to extend or become permanent in the future.

Providing analytical support within the Investment Team, this program rotates across four departments within Investment Management or Investment Operations. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure and experience across a range of investment areas which may include Asset Allocation, Equities, Quantitative Solutions, Investment Operations, Responsible Investment, Strategy and Innovation and Risk and Compliance.

Working alongside an outstanding and accomplished team, you will gain a valuable insight into investment management/operations and the superannuation industry. This program is an exceptional development opportunity for those with a genuine interest in profit-to-member superannuation funds.

 

We’re looking for 2 driven, insightful, team-players to join our Fund as a Superannuation Graduates:

  • full-time
  • fixed term 12-month contract 
  • based in Melbourne 
  • starting in February 2022 with the potential to extend or become permanent in the future.  

Providing support to our teams throughout the fund, this program rotates across four departments. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure and experience across a range of our superannuation business units.

Working alongside an outstanding and accomplished team, you will gain a valuable insight into the superannuation industry. This program is an exceptional development opportunity for those with a genuine interest in profit-to-member superannuation funds.
